CRYOGEN FREE MAGNET SYSTEM BENEFITS

No Liquid Cryogens Required: No expensive liquid Helium or Nitrogen is required keeping the running costs to the minimum.

Automated operation: The system is automated using a LabVIEW software which includes operational fail-safe safeguards. The special measurement facilities have additional comprehensive software which allows measurements to be performed in a repeatable and reliable fashion with the software prompting the user at the appropriate times and performing appropriate calculations, noise analysis and full data analysis.

Open Access Software Code: The algorithms which perform the measurement calculations are accessible to the research for modification. This allows for custom measurement routines and calculations to be integrated into the system directly by the researcher if the experiment requires.

Ease of use: No prior knowledge of cryogenics is required to operate the system. Simply switch on the cryogenerator for 24 hours to reach operating temperature and the system is then ready to operate. The safety issue of handling liquid cryogens is eliminated since the system does not require them for operation.

System Standby: The Cryogen Free Measurement System can be kept on standby for weeks or months so that measurements can be made at a short notice. The system can be shut down completely if there are no experiments planned for an extended period. When experiments resume, simply turn on the system electronics and power on the cryocooler compressor and the system will be fully operational in 24 hours.

System Protection: The measurement system is fully protected in the event of the loss of laboratory power. The magnet within the system has a dedicated quench protection circuit to prevent any damage to the system in the case of a power fault.

No retractable leads required: The system uses High Temperature Superconductor current leads which do not need to be removed when the magnet is in persistent mode.

Fast Sample Change: Our systems are top sample loading for fast sample turn around times. Our patented circulation design in our Variable Temperature Insert cools the sample from room temperature to base temperature quickly and efficiently.

Turnkey system: Cryogenic provides a complete system including all ancillaries for a fully operational system and a set of spare consumables.
